Coconut cake

Hi there, how is everyone doing? I have a fun and exciting weekend ahead of me..I will be sitting in the class both days from 8.30am-4.30pm studying! sigh.. So, tonight I’m busy with preparation for the class, refreshing my memory and going through the old notes. With that sad, I will still share very easy and quick recipe for delicious coconut cake. Coffee crepes with creme fraiche and peaches

Juicy golden peaches and crรจme fraiche conjure up the sweet taste of summer. They are delicious and sweet as the filling for these light coffee-flavored buckwheat crepes. This recipe is lighter than the one I used to make Russian blini. I serve these crepes for breakfast, lunch or sometimes as a dessert after dinner. Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

Rustic homemade peach galette

I decided to make one of my favourite summer desserts this time – Peach Galette. This is a simple, honest and delicious recipe of galette, made with fresh yellow peaches tossed with some sugar, butter and vanilla. I have a love for home made crust; I make several batches of dough in advance, and just wrap them in plastic wrap and keep it in the freezer until needed. If you have never made homemade crust before, you will be surprised at how easy it is to make it. Make this peach galette while peaches are at their best ๐Ÿ™‚

German chocolate coffee cake

This past weekend I had my mother-in-law birthday so i baked delicious bday cake with her and our favourite things: chocolate, cocoa, coffee, nuts, milk and coconut. I used the basic German chocolate recipe and modified it for our taste. It turned out to be such a hit, even my picky nephews ate it ๐Ÿ™‚ No cake was left at the end of the evening!
