Many thanks to lovely Tricia from SometimesIcook and witty Karatefox for nominating my blog for the Versatile blogger award. It’s a great encouragement to be nominated and getting noticed by other bloggers. So, thank you guys.
Once again, my blogging community has shown me how warm, supportive and encouraging they can be. I have been nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award by Karina and for the Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award by Joann. I am very honoured, humbled and happy to receive recognition for my blog.
The Sunshine Blogger award is given to those who are inspiring and bring positive vibe (sunshine) into the lives of the readers and fellow followers. The Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award is to recognize the contribution of women bloggers around the world. Two things that I am very passionate about: to inspire people and to empower women…and to be recognized for these two things is just awesome feeling 🙂
Thank you to Angie Indulge your inner foodie for another wonderful nomination – Blogger Recognition award. The purpose of this award is to recognize bloggers, give them encouragement, motivation to continue blogging, and basically just let them know that they are loved and appreciated. Being a blogger is not as easy as it might seem at first. For me, it takes time and commitment to come up with new ideas, to try them out first, to be consistent, to be supportive of other bloggers and especially to write a post as I am not too wordy..it all takes time and effort. To know that people read and get inspired by my ideas means a world to me 🙂 Thank you.

I can never get enough of the incredible flavours that available at the market in the summer time. One of my favourite ways to hold on to the season’s freshest berries is by making jam. It is easier to do than it sounds. You just need few basic ingredients that you probably have at home and some fresh berries. Today, I choose black and red raspberries. Savour the summer and make some jam! I plan to give it away as gifts for holiday season, and will present my jam in personalized cute mason jars. Touch of summer in the mid of winter. Can’t wait for holidays to come!

“This concept just came to me as I was contemplating this blog post. I was thinking about how I could possibly write something from a position of empowerment or power or “I’ve got it all together” when I so don’t have it all together; I started thinking “but I’ve had it together before, what happened?”. In thinking about this I came to the realization that we never have “OUR LIFE” (I have capitalized this on purpose as though it is one big thing) together. My life, I realized, is actually a series of small lives… Continue reading “9 lives…”
I decided to make one of my favourite summer desserts this time – Peach Galette. This is a simple, honest and delicious recipe of galette, made with fresh yellow peaches tossed with some sugar, butter and vanilla. I have a love for home made crust; I make several batches of dough in advance, and just wrap them in plastic wrap and keep it in the freezer until needed. If you have never made homemade crust before, you will be surprised at how easy it is to make it. Make this peach galette while peaches are at their best 🙂
