ingredients:
4 cups flour
1 tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
pinch of salt
1 cup milk
2 tbsp lukewarm water
1/3 cup butter
3 egg yolks
Melted butter for brushing
Directions:
Combine yeast, sugar and warm water and let it stand for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, add the milk and butter in small saucepan and warm it just enough so butter melts. Once the yeast is activated, in the bowl of s standing mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine the warm milk and butter mixture, and yeast mixture, mix for few seconds. Add the flour, egg yolks, and salt and mix on low speed just until the flour is incorporated.
Increase the speed to medium high and kneed for 5 minutes. Once the dough is nice and smooth, form a ball and transfer to the separate bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it proof somewhere in warm place (i leave it in microwave or turned off oven) for about an hour.
Flour your work surface and dump the dough onto it. Cut the dough into 12 pieces. Take each piece of dough and roll it in a smooth ball, place on the baking tray (covered with parchment paper). Brush half of the buns with olive oil and sprinkle rosemary and chopped garlic on top. With the remaining half, brush with water and sprinkle sesame seeds. It can be any flavour/ toppings of your choice of course.
Cover with kitchen towel and plastic wrap on top and let it proof at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375F. Once the dough has risen, bake buns for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy!

Do you think I can use this recipe and just dump it in NY bread maker to prep/make the dough?
