What could be better than homemade ice-cream treat? These are easy, delicious and super healthy. Juicy peaches with a swirls of real, fresh cream and a little bit of condensed milk will sure satisfy your sweet tooth. Fresh peaches are a great source of antioxidants, vitamin C, and minerals such as potassium, so while these end up being a late summer staple in my home- it is one that you can feel good about giving to your kids too! Ingredients: 5 ripe peaches (sliced), 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 tbsp condensed milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
Purée peaches until smooth. In separate bowl, whip up cream with vanilla extract and add condensed milk. Now, you can omit this step and just go with natural sweetness from peaches, but I don’t mind a little bit of sugar in mine 🙂 Fold the whip cream into the peach puree, and fill your popsicle molds (or any molds you like). Freeze for at least 4-5 hours or better overnight. Healthy tip: use yogurt instead of cream if you like.
This recipe makes 16 popsicles (note that I use smaller molds than regular ones).
