Artisan bread

Hello friends,

Today I’m sharing with you my quick and easy recipe of delicious artisan bread with crunchy golden crust and soft texture on the inside. Having warm bread with butter and jam brings out memories of my childhood 🙂 . Hope you give it a try.


3 cups of flour (sifted)

1 tsp salt

1 tsp instant yeast

1½ cup warm water


1.In a large bowl mix together dry ingredients. Pour the water over the flour mixture and mix gently with spatula until the mixture resembles wet sticky dough. Do not knead the dough otherwise it will be tough on the inside. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place to rise for at least 8 hours (the longer the better).

2.Preheat oven to 450 C. Place parchment paper on the bottom of loaf pan and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes to get it hot.

3.Sprinkle just enough flour on the dough to be able to scoop the dough out. Place the dough ball in loaf pan and gently spread it evenly.

4.Loosely cover with aluminium foil and bake at preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove the cover and bake for additional 20 minutes until the top is golden colour.

Allow the bread to rest for 5 minutes before serving,
